Located in the quickly growing,
up and coming Hilliard area of Columbus OH is Rock City Church’s newest campus. The new Hilliard campus will serve as Rock City’s main broadcast campus that will stream video of their weekly services to the other campuses. To accomplish this, a robust video system was installed that includes four Panasonic VariCam LT cameras, a Ross Video Carbonite Switcher and Router, and Living As One decoders and encoders to stream their services out to all their other campuses.
Rock City Hilliard is not just about the video, though. Their main PA system is a right-left, hanging array, L-Acoustics K2 line array system with nine K2 boxes per side and six KS28 subs sunk into the front of the stage. Needless to say, it’s got some kick!
Beyond the tech of the church, Rock City’s entire mentality is found in the love they have for their Columbus community. Their tagline “We are FOR Columbus” came from the simple concept that, as a church, they are here for their community. They are here to support their community, help their community, love their community, and show the Kingdom of God to their community. That’s a message we can 100% get behind.
